Could higher predicted grades make things harder?

So initially I was predicted ABC (Biology, Physics, Chemistry)

But then my tutor bumped it up to ABB,
but I really don't think I can make the B in Chemistry

I am applying for Reading (for biology), who describe their entry requirements as:

ABB
or ABC (if you do 2 or more sciences)

Since I may now be predicted ABB instead of ABC will Reading then potentially make me an offer asking for ABB instead of the more realistic ABC?

since you have the three sciences, you should technically get an ABC offer :smile:
It depends on the Uni.

When I went to Manchester they said they would base the offer on your predicted grades, so if the entry requirements were ABB but you were predicted AAA, they'd offer you AAA. They said they did this to encourage the students to work as hard as they possibly could, and achieve their full potential.
