Unit 6 Edexcel physics
COLOR=darkred]Is anyone here doing the Unit 6 Edexcel paper today for physics? I know, it's this afternoon, but does anyone have a clue what a Cherenkov particle detector does? Or, can explain the analogies between Springs and Capacitors or Capacitor discharge and radioactivity?

I do a different board to you by the sounds of it, but the analogy between capacitor discharge and radioactivity is the exponential nature of discharge and radioactive decay. Capacitor discharge = Q=Q0e^-t/RC and Radioactive decay = N=N0e-yt (y=lambda)
