A2 English Language Investigation Coursework!!!

Hi guys,
I wanted to ask about A2 English coursework titles, my teacher told us last Thursday that we're starting our investigations on Tuesday so we need to fill out this sheet with our ideas and a title and hypothesis for our investigations.
I had a great idea for mine, I wanted to look into the language of power and how children try to use it to get what they want, but my teacher told me I couldn't do it because it might upset the parents of the children.
I was going to record the children I tutor - with their parents permission of course - and use them.
Now I have no idea what to do other than I want it to be looking into child language acquisition - its my favourite topic and it'll be helpful for me because I want to be a primary school teacher.
HELP PLEASE!!!!!!
