A Level Geology?

Any A-Level geologists out there? A few questions for them

1.

What's the course like?

2.

Is this a respected course?

3.

How do you find this course?, difficult, reasonable etc

4.

Any tips if taking this subject?

I've not taken it but in answer to the first two questions:
1. You can probably get a good interpretation by looking at the course specifications and past papers which will be available on the exam board website.
2. It's not regarded as a facilitating subject so it depends on what you want to do. What are you intending to study at University and any ideas where? Regardless, it's fine as a fourth or possibly third A Level as long as you've got two facilitating subjects.
Its hard :frown:

Many universities consider it fine as a 3rd science subject (e.g. if they required Bio/Chem plus another science).

What do you want to do at univerisity/job? What A levels are you considering taking alongside it? I imagine it would be great with Physics and Geography.
