Would leeds make allowances?

Basically I'm really worried about not getting AAA, the conditions for the offer I received a few days ago for zoology. I was wondering if anyone knew if allowances could be made, say if I got AAB or ABB, is there a chance they'd still let me in depending on the circumstances like how many places there are on the course etc? Thanks!

Hi,

If you don't get the exact grades outlined in your offer we may still be able to accept you in August, as like many universities, we are often able to take students who narrowly miss their grades at confirmation. We do this as we prefer to take students who genuinely want to come to Leeds rather than taking larger numbers through Clearing. At this stage we may also take into account other qualifications, such as the EPQ. We can't guarantee that this will be the case as it depends on a number of factors, including the number achieving the terms of their offer.
