Sainsburys induction days
Hello, i recently got offered a job at sainsburys, the induction day is on Satuday, from 8am-5pm, do you think i will have to go in the next day as i already have important plans on the sunday regarding a family member. 
Does your contract require you working Sundays. If so, most probably you will be expected to go in.

what are you contracted to work? e.g. hours per week, days etc
I would imagine they wont insist you come in on one day's notice, if they had to have you in on the Sunday they should really have mentioned it already
