Engineering Apprenticeships

I have been looking into Universities at school. However my Physics teacher was having a word with me about maybe getting a apprenticeship instead, so that and learning while getting practical experience. I am interested in Aeronautical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, but can't seem to find any apprenticeships. Can someone please help?
Where you from? I know of some but it depends where you live

I doubt theirs an apprenticeship in Aeronautical Engineering, I think their are apprenticeships in becoming an aircraft technician though
I don't know how to tag users on this...

But there is an Aeronautical Engineering apprenticeship at Airbus, Broughton
It requires 2 Bs at A level in Maths and Physics

Have you looked at Jaguar and Rolls Royce??
