not to forget essex.

ummm, no clue about what its like there but its 2001 RAE result is a 4 which is good but not great, someone like Durham got a 4 as well and its been said to not have a great Politics department. Sheffield, however, got 5*, the top rating...not that I'm biased at all....
queen mary is good for politics. people should APPLY, wel at least for insurance, i know the vast majority woud like to attend the top unis

If you dont have the grades to get into a top uni for politics(lse,york,warwick,bristol etc) then i think Loughborough have a decent department and have quite low entry requirements for a uni that performs so well in league tables.
loughborough has not got a reputable rep with employers. london unis have reasonable grade req should opt for those instead.

I was thinking about doing a Double honours in English Literature and Politics at Dundee.

What is the Politics Department like? It looks slightly underloved!
