French Summer Courses - AUP vs Sorbonne

Looking to do a summer course in France this coming summer and was wondering if anyone had any experience with either of these courses.

I am looking for something intense. I spent 6 months in Amiens when I was 16 and felt like I wasted it due to being surrounded by English speakers, so was wondering what peoples experiences were like re those they were surrounded by, and how much their French improved by, also the structure of the course etc.

Also what was the accommodation like, hostels, host families etc?

Looking forward to hearing back from people soon, also any advice on other French summer courses would be greatly welcomed!

Thanks x

AUP !

Any reasons why??
La Sorbonne for sure. It has a far better reputation in France and internationally and the standard of teaching is very high. It is quite hard work with tests every Friday, but you do improve a lot. In class you are expected to speak French all the time too, whereas at the AUP you would be surrounded by English speakers so you wouldn't be immersed in the language properly.
