Acer Aspire. Usually about 2ish hours, used to be a lot longer.

My old laptop which broke a few months ago was a custom one from PC Specialist, I forget the exact model and that lasted about 10 mins off battery after only having it a year so it was kept plugged in all the time while in use. My laptop before that was a Sony Vaio which my bf now uses as a server and that lasted around 4 hours if I wasn't using it much and maybe 2 hours if it was in heavy use. My new laptop from PC Specialist comes tomorrow and I just hope the battery on this one is better than the last.

I have a HP Envy M6-1310sa. It lasts about 5 hours when video watching, 6 when on flight mode and just doing low demand things like essay writing and about 3 or 4 when playing high demanding video games.
It's quite bad as I lose track of time when playing games- a smaller battery life might remind me more frequently how bad my addiction is! :tongue:
