Student Finance error - appealling

Hi, I wonder if anyone has been in this situation before. Last year I applied for full time university fees and maintenance loan Student Finance and after 6 months they told I was only entitled to maintenance loan because I had previous studies in Brazil and my degree has been deemed as a lower than the one I am doing now. Now in my second year finishing my first term I had to send the Naric statement regarding my previous qualification and they decided that my degree is equivalent the one I am doing now and they will not give me any funding. It was their mistake as they firsts asses my degree as lower than the one I am doing now! I have no clue about degree levels! I am trying to appeal but I have been reading about it and they are very bound to their regulations but in this case it was their mistake! Please help

You were wrongly awarded money in the first place and in accepting it you agreed to their Terms and Conditions, which include revising the award if necessary.
Did you supply the correct information they asked for, regarding your degree?
