Equally there are going to be people who befriend rich people, because they're rich ie: use them
yea i've experienced that to.
The amount of money someone has would not influence whether or not I am friends with them. Only their attitude and and actions would, regardless of income.
I am quite rich here at home(same story: big house, nice clothes and cosmetics, latest phones). My parents worked their butts of to get where they are as well. It's good because we're not snobs, we're just living comfortably in a society where most people can't afford a decent lifestyle.
In the UK, I'd be broke. I will be studying in the UK and started worrying about the money issue(accommodation and transportation wise).
I know how it is to be the wealthier person in one group an next year I'll learn how to be the poorer one.
I would be a friend of yours. Assuming you'd give me a kickass Christmas gift and don't brag too much
