Opinion on dress for CHRISTMAS PARTY!

I have a Christmas party at uni next week, could you please give me an opinion on this dress I like? Is it too much? It's not this shiny in real life.

I think that the dress should be fine, it has a christmas look about it so should be fine, accessories with some christmas things
