Do module choices matter?

...for journalism?

For reference, I'm doing English Lit at uni and all my modules have been 'prestigious'-Shakespeare, Medieval Drama etc but I'm considering doing one in Children's Literature, which isn't considered as such.

I know it *shouldn't* matter at all and I have a lot of work experience etc which is important, but I'm just really scared that even though I worked really hard, journalism is so overpopular that they may discriminate against me for one iffy module on my transcript, if they were to ask for it. I sound so paranoid, but it is so often a case of contacts (which I don't have, apart from where I've done work experience) or luck, and yeah, I'm going to try and apply for training schemes on newspapers (as well as training courses), so this is where the transcript may be needed.

Any advice?
