Mayflower Halls?
Is anyone staying there - it looks really good and i want to put it down as my accommodation choice?
Hi!
I'm actually a student ambassador for the University so I can talk about Mayflower! It's a very nice set of halls that opened this year. There have been some problems with some aspects of the halls being not fully completed (delayed due to a fire over the Summer) but the University has been very good with their response and has offered compensation.
It's right into the city so it's about 40 minutes bus ride from Highfield but say, you are an Ocean and Earth Sciences student studying down at the docks a lot, it's very convenient. It's also close to a lot of the city nightclubs.
