Could i be discriminated against?

I have sent my application off to UCAS and in my personal statement i have written that i have cancer (secondary on the lung) i have also written that as a result of the operation i will have to take some time out of college for recovery time etc. I also have a Titanium bone in my left leg and have depression.

In worried that i could be unintentionally discriminated against.

What is the possibility of this?

I don't know why i would be I'm just worried it could happen, that is a good way of viewing it though, i hadn't thought of that & thankyou
Wishing you all the best. I would think all that going on would make you a far more impressive applicant. Let us know how the application goes.
You should not have put in your personal statement.
It should have been in your referees statement.
You could be discriminated against. You could also be gored by a charging rhinoceros on Guildford High Street. Neither are likely.
