anyone know if you can take an elective when you're doing joint honours? cos i no at other unis even if you're doing 2 subjects for your degree you can do a 3rd as a minor subject but i was just wondering if it's the same at sussex?
I don't think so. As far as I'm aware, joint honours fill all the credits that would otherwise be made up by elective choices. I don't know of any combination that is the exception, but I suppose two languages might allow for it. I don't know for sure, but I would say probably no.
I do a joint, and don't have any electives this term, However, there are options between diefferent courses in the following terms...
...again, depending on the course. I do English Language & Linguistics. I'm a second year, and my first choice of course ever will be in the Spring term of this year, choosing between two options.
