what % of people are in a placebo group?

weird question i know but couldn't think where else to ask

im thinking about entering a clinical trial for a treatment. they said there will be a placebo group. obviously im hoping im on the non-placebo group. are the sizes of the placebo and non-placebo groups the same i.e. 50% chance?

In a randomised control trial the treatment arm and the control arm are usually fairly equivalent.
