Can someone please explain where I have gone wrong? Tried a few ways but can't work out aii.

5000e^(-0.05t) = 1000e^(0.023t)
5e^(-0.05t) = e^0.023t)
ln5 - 0.05t = 0.023t

then onwards from there

you misread the question as 0.5 instead of 0.05, then a slip with log rules
