Ucas referee question...
I am on a gap year and was wondering how likely that the universities will call my referee given that all predicted grades and everything are straightforward even looking at my achieved grades etc... and he is my employer and is not actually "professional" and primarily related with the courses I am doing but has general knowledge any ways. Cheers
Unis generally don't call your referee. If they did want further information, they'd usually want this in writing - so it's more likely to be through email or post. But even so, that's unlikely unless there's something missing from your application, or your situation is complicated and needs clarification.
