Double standards that you hate?

For instance it being more acceptable for a girl to hit a guy than vice versa or it's more acceptable for guys to sleep with many girls than girls with guys when both should be seen at an equal level. What double standards really irk you?

I don't know if you noticed but there isn't usually a section for "male breasts" on porn websites. The same cannot quite be said about boobs.

The hitting one. I got into a huge argument with a friend after I said that if a girl hit me with intent to injure me, I would probably hit her back. He was shocked and said you should never hit a woman. I personally feel that you should never hit anyone but if someone was coming at me with a knife and it was needed in self presevation I would have no qualms about hitting anyone. He on the other hand seemed to think that he still wouldn't hit them if it was a girl attacking him. :curious:

That its OK for girls to show emotion but it's almost taboo for guys to, even in a situation that warrants emotion say when a loved one died. Yeah some guys just don't show emotion and that is fine as long as they aren't holding back because of the stigma against guys crying.

Oh, this kinda happened a lot during history. One of my white, is that politically correct term?, classmate, she was blonde had blue/grey eyes and was quite tall was called out by one one of my black, politically correct?, classmates to be KKK, BNP, other things, she got so pissed off and offended that my teacher held a lecture for 45 mins about racism. It was really sad actually, and no one defended and I'm quite ashamed that that included me.......

(sorry, I really hope i didn't offend anyone)

Anyway, the double standard I really hate is the fact that while teachers tell my class that we should get help from teachers, in history, only borderline or below C students and those predicted As and A*s are actually given help to. Those with B grades don't get much support because they're already in a good place.

(i might have gotten the meaning of double standard wrong so sorry)

Yes I agree about when females hit males, it is very common for females to hit men yet we cannot hit them, if we hit them there is a riot.

I don't think this is very fair considering the amount of abuse some females give. Also the fact that females can listen to any music or ware any type of clothes but men have to listen to a specific type of music or clothing or else we are accused of being feminine.
