Applying for Accommodation

Hi!

I was wondering as I'm kinda confused, when you get your accommodation form, do you get to chose where you want to stay or do the university find you a place?

Hi Amy!

I'm trying to sort this out too. From what I can tell... you list your top 5 halls/student houses in order of preference. Then you submit the form to the uni and they pass on your application to your 1st choice. If they reject you, it goes to the 2nd, and so on. If you don't get a place at any of the 5 choices then the uni place you wherever they can. :cool:

So it's a bit of a lottery really!

The box at the bottom for office use says something about UF and CF, which i'm assuming means unconditional firm and conditional firm, but no option for CI which I guess there would be if people who have it as an insurance were to fill it out.
