Further Maths GCSE - Co-ordinate Geometry

Stuck on a question in the Further Maths AQA textbook, can anybody help?

Here's the question:

Heres my working out so far:

Book says the answer is:

y = (3)/(4) x - (25)/(4)

I have the gradient but can't seem to find the y-intercept

You have 3s and 4s all over the place

You are correct when you say y=34x+cy = \dfrac{3}{4} x + c

You then put in the values
x=4
y=3

That point is not relevant to the line

I know what the question is

You are trying to find the equation of the tangent

You have used the wrong point

Can you tell me what point to use then?

Doesn't matter, I've figured it out. I was using the gradient not Point T.

Thanks for the help.
