Excessive burping after eating

After I eat, I usually experience burping hours after and it always tastes like the food that I ate. Sometimes it happens a lot and sometimes it doesn't but I don't understand why, has anyone else experienced this as well?? and I want to go to a doctor about this but I don't know who (would prefer to avoid a GP) plus it seems a bit trivial going to a specialist just because of burping but this rly irritates me. Is it related to indigestion or something? (also: this only became frequent after i was diagnosed with prophyria in June this year. Since then i have been having these excessive burps.)
It's probably to do with how you eat or how quickly. Try slowing down and thinking about how you're chewing - do you ever accidentally chew with your mouth open or talk while eating? Slowing down in general will help and being conscious of how you're eating might help you make connections between eating and burping.
Speak to your GP and/or pharmacist if you have concerns. Diet and the way you eat can probably improve symptoms. If that fails there may be medication you can take if it seems your stomach or bowels are not working exactly as they should be.
Have you had your gut and oesophagus looked into..it might be super sensitive & upsetting it when food is going down it..possible links to chrons disease (sp?) which could be down to the gut lining being inflamed.

You have indigestion. Just drink half a cup of milk after eating
