Are there any prerequisite exams that I can take if I don't meet a Uni offer?
Say, I have extenuating circumstances where I could not take the practical exams for Physics and Chemistry, which are 25% weighing of the overall grade, and I was in a 'bad situation' at the time?
Is there any possibility to get an offer this way if I miss the grades?

You can have your college/6th form apply to the exam board for extra considerations and write to the unis/include extenuatiing circumstances in your reference I believe.
