Hi! I'm in need of your help...

so basically, I applied for the 3D design pathway and I think I regret it. I was accepted on the course and was super happy. However, now that I think about it, I really want to switch to the diagnostic...

is there anyway I am able to switch?

Have you contacted them to find out? Hope all goes well.

They sent me this:

Hello Marianne
Firstly
WELL DONE

it was extremely difficult this year to get a place

the size of the foundation has been cut by half and we had even more applicants than before

over 3000

so you did well!

I wouldn't worry about being in 3DDA it is a great pathway and is almost diagnostic as you will try so many things !

you will have been put in this pathwayy as they thought your work would suit either

product, jewellery , furniture design
architecture interior and exterior
ceramics
and many many more
so don't worry
look forward to seeing you next year!

Hope you are coming to the Foundation show in May

14th 15th 16th

Berni

i guess I'm staying in 3DDA then

You should call them! The only thing is that it might be closed for Easter - but some admin people will be there.

I can't. Because now I'm in Russia and it is too expensive. (One friend of mine called to the UK last year and spent about £60 for few minutes of conversation)

They cut 1/2 the number of places this year?! Does that mean just the 3DDA or across the whole of CSM foundation? That'd mean that there's only 300 ish people as opposed to the usual 600....?

Wow

Crap. Do you have any friends who live over here in the UK? Have you emailed CSM admin?

You could see if they can call and pretend to be you?

Yeah that email address or Simon's. Worth emailing and if you don't hear 2 days after contacting them, get someone in the UK to call for you.

This may sound silly but always check your junk mail...I found my offer from Kingston for Foundation in my junk mail folder. (Kinda terrifying because the email would've been deleted after 3 days if I hadn't checked)

If they don't reply, its most likely that granary square is all closed up for Easter holidays. Good luck!
