This seems similar to a classic demo called 'Bartons pendulums'
There's plenty of explanations online afaik and youtubes
I’ve done some digging into Barton’s Pendulum but I still can’t figure out how increasing the tension of the string on top would affect anything. Could anyone help me out here?
