Practising for an exam

Hi all,

I need help with understanding how to study efficiently for an exam. Unfortunately I'm not good at doing the rote method as it does not aid in my understanding of the topic. I find myself completely stressing out when I have to regurgitate information in a small period of time. For this particular unit I'm studying (nutrition) I find that I cannot understand the wording of the question then I would just guess the answer. I get some right I get some wrong. Anywho could someone please assist?

Thanks,

Eve.
Hi eve

What I find useful it using bbc bitesize and writing what they have down in bullet points, and when a definition comes up , I write it on capitals and colour, once I've written down all my notes, I then read over them again with a spare notepad next to me, on this notepad I write down anything I don't understand and focus my revision on that.

Hope this helps
