IGCSE-reproduction in humans

Me and my classmates find biology in the IGCSE pretty easy but often loose marks in one question and that is when we get questions for 8 marks and we have to describe the menstrual cycle along with hormones released at what time and what effects they have. We often have to read it up just before the examination. Please try to answer it as a 8 mark question and give any suggestions about revision for the examinations. our exams approach this march.:frown:
Well if you think about it, there are 4 hormones involved in the menstrual cycle: FSH, oestrogen, LH and progesterone. They each affect one another by either stimulating another to be produced, or inhibiting it, or both (FSH and oestrogen). I suggest you think of 2 marks per hormone, to total 8 marks.

Here is a breakdown of the cycle: http://www.thealevelbiologist.co.uk/control-of-mammalian-oestrus
