Am I being too forward/serious too soon?

I've been with my girlfriend for two weeks now having only known her for two weeks before that, I've already mentioned the future and I ask to see her every other day (which I thought was reasonable for the holidays). I'm very conscious that I'm being way too forward and to quote her "too serious", how can I avoid doing this and tone it down a bit? :frown:
Relax man, jesus two weeks and you already are dating? I'm not sure I'de even know anything about someone after two weeks of conversation...

Get to know her a bit more, maybe text one another more instead of meeting up so often? Meeting up every two days is a huge commitment, would drive me absolutely mental, I'm not sure I could meet up with someone consistently every week damnit...
