Yes, definitely possible

You may want to practise spelling psychology first though

Usually, high achievement is attained within the framework of high expectations. So you are in the right track.

It's definitely possible! I'm predicted 4 A* and I could achieve them if I work hard enough (hopefully I will). Just make sure you nail every topic that could possibly come up, so then you've only got the silly mistakes to worry about and they should be a small %
You only need 3 A levels... I don't see the point in carrying on a 4th. Just adds to stress

Yes - I did! I just worked really hard. Unfortunately I'm also socially retarded ^_^

would you say that meant that you were unable to do other things that you desired?

yes, but did that mean they were unable to socialise?

No. People usually do 4 AS levels. Then at A2, they drop one subject and do 3 A2 levels

You cannot get an A* at AS, only A2

Edit: Entry requirements on university pages are 3 A levels with the grades in upper case. There may sometimes be a lower case letter which indicates the grade they require you to have attained at AS in the subject you've dropped

I got 4 A*s and an A and I managed to socialise. I know several others who got similar grades and also socialised. People exaggerate the difficulty of A Levels to be honest.

what did you do that allowed you to do both?

Yes it's possible, I got 4A*s and didn't have to sacrifice my social life to get them. Just work efficiently and as hard as you can and be happy regardless of whether you get all 4, there's more to life than grades.
