No, it was pretty clear.

I've liked her for a while, she is a famously reserved kind of girl and she only seems to open up around me. All the signs were positive... but it turns out that she doesn't feel the same way. Just sees me as a friend, blah blah blah.

I'm relieved in a way now, because at least I know there's no hope...but that doesn't make her any less amazing or the whole situation any easier to stomach.
