Male with widows peak- haircut issues.

Hi,
I've got quite a small head, so I've been styling my hair up recently to give the illusion of a larger head (see pic).

Trouble is, because I've got a bit of a widows peak/higher hairline at temples going on, it makes my haircut look odd from the side.

I tried slicking it back for a bit, but it was more a novelty than a permanent style.

Any ideas on a style that would suit me?
