I'm a Muslim guy and I posted a thread not long ago asking how to approach a girl I'm interested in. She seems like a conservative girl and doesn't speak to boys socially. I got mixed responses from Muslim girls. Some said to talk to her directly(with pure intentions) and others said to consult my friend that knows her through work. Someone said to write a letter/e-mail to her explaining my intentions. I haven't decided what to do yet. All approaches seem really difficult for me as I'm quite shy.
I wouldn't say I'm liberal, I'm a conservative Muslim. My family are very liberal though, making this a lot harder for me.

Best that you speak to the girl first and be friends or smething, approach her as a friend first,who knows that once u get to know her she may not be your type eh lol. I'm muslim too and 21, usually guys approach me and try and be my friends ofcourse, then once they open up u get to know which ones have good intentions and some are just u know different lol. Same goes for boys u get

Being a friend isn't haram how else are u meant to socialise or meet anyone?

Ooh, I would love someone writing letters or sending emails to me. If you're really intested in that girl, ask your your guardian (maybe one of your parent) to accompany you to meet that girl (with that girl being accompanied by her guardian too).

Meet in a cafe (or anywhere decent), and ask her questions to get to know her (with your guardian and her guardian as the witnesses). As Muslims, we know that it's better to be in a company of two or more when it comes to socialising with the opposite gender.

At the time of your meeting, ask her anything that you wanted to know. Her favourite colour, routines, property, health, Islamic knowledge etc.

Well, I could only suggest- up to you :smile: I would love being approached that way
