Portsmouth or Coventry for MA?

Hello buddies. I am going to begin my MA education on International Relations next year. Portsmouth accepted my application for International Relations and European Studies. However, I am confused. I am going to apply Coventry University too. Coventry is at the higher place in Times' World Rankings list. However, I liked Portsmouth as I made researches about it.
I want to study PhD after MA. Academic adequacy is important.
At the same time, social life is very important. I want to have a nice year in England.
To Which university should I go?
Portsmouth or Coventry? Which one is more professional? Which university's students are more friendly?
Thank you for your answers.
Take care!

Hi Gsaray1905,

It's great to hear that you've chosen Coventry as one of your choices to study your Masters!

The MA International Relations course is a very in depth and detailed course that investigates themes such as globalisation, international law and diplomacy. Alongside your course, the Global Leaders Programme is a great opportunity to get involved with fellow students and industry professionals on preparing you to become a leader in your chosen field.

It's certainly worth getting involved!

Social life is definitely very important to students, as it's the opportunity to meet new friends and people that can have a big impact on your life, socially and professionally! There's a multitude of things you can get involved with at the University, and in the city of Coventry too.

Take a little read through our student blog, unCOVered, to find out what's happening in Coventry! A personal favourite of mine is a walk through Memorial Park, shopping at Fargo Village and having a cocktail or two at Millsy's!

Let us know if there's anything you need!

Also planned studying in Coventry considering the fact that you can learn and also socialise but unfortunately I was given a CAS number due to the fact that I had 60 marks in my overall English test which is suppose to be 61, so I wasn't given the opportunity. So all the best.

Funny enough I was also given the option of MA international Relations as well when I was looking for a means of changing my course to another. Try coventry, it's a good choice and all the best.
