PGCE Primary Leeds Beckett Interview Portfolio

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone that's been to the Leeds Beckett Primary PGCE interview can help me with the portfolio section. I know what needs to go in it, I just have a few questions about the length, format and the evidence which focuses on how teaching has impacted on children's learning and development.

How long was yours? How did you present it? In a folder or just on a printed out Word document? How much detail did you go in to about your experience? I'm wondering whether I should include my experience with Girlguiding, too. What if I have no physical evidence of my involvement with teaching (i.e. no copies of planning or annotated children's work).

I haven't been asked for anything like this for my two other interviews and it's thrown me quite a bit!

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :smile:

Hi,

I have an interview at Leeds Beckett and was wondering the same thing!

I've made my work experience log, its a page outlining the work experience I've done with a description of my roles, but I'm wondering if they require more detail.
