I think so. I've had people delete me and I've deleted people too, they obviously have their reason even if it's just because you don't talk anymore or whatever. If they want to get back in touch with you then they will. Best to leave the ball in their court tbh.

If you go to look on their facebook page one day to find you arent their friend anymore. Or if you are looking on your friends list and realise they arent there. I have to admit, it can take a while to realise they arent your friend anymore, especially if you have quite a few friends on facebook.
