MSc in Sexually Transmitted Infections & HIV or MSc in Global Health & Development

Dear all,

I am thinking of applying for the MSc in STIs and HIV at UCL. I am particularly drawn to these issues and would love to learn more about it. However, I am also wondering what the majority of the graduates from this program do after they finish their grad school. The alumni's testimonial in the website was not clear enough.

I looked at another program that the faculty offers, that is the MSc in Global Health and Development. From the students' testimnials, I could tell that the graduates go to do work in NGOs or research, which is what I would love to do. Do you think that the master in Global Health is better?

Thanks for your input.
Global Health & Development seems more general, hence it covers more and can be applied to more jobs? STI seems too specific. I think GH&O is more practical.

- Just my opinion, not an expert.
