Guys can you help me with the last part of the questions?
How do I turn 0.5r^2 to the given form?
I tried lots of different ways but couldnt get there.

cos2x = 1 - 2sin2x

let x = θ/2 in this identity

PS quickly change the spelling in "polar" of your thread because MrM is about.
