On my gcse results my aunty shows up to find out what I got, she asked as I tried to avoid her so I said I did OK, automatically they think I failed when actually I got 9 A's 2 B's. their response "gcse are getting easier"
AS-level I failed EEDC they avoid any conversation with me, thiking my gcse was a fluke.
I resit to get AABB no reaction
Now I'm so close to going university but I can't imagine myself there, I've lost motivation wish I had some support.

Even if I go to uni I won't get any well done, no one will care

Your GCSES are brilliant. That's the nature of Pakistani families and culture. It's not a nice one. So its not you and you'll do fine if you ignore it and focus in your main goal.

You don't get the qualifactions for your family. It's your life, at the end of the day.
I realise that this isn't the answer that you're looking for but, I'm also used to my parents and friends (and sometimes also my teachers) assuming that I will be doing poorly in all upcoming exams, due to my CCDE AS levels last year--I was predicted AAAB. So I've learnt to ignore this (have had practice thanks to being a victim of bullying for several years) and only care about what I think, not what they think.

Also, how did you improve your results so quickly? Did you resit the year totally or just resit lots of modules (and if so, how did you go about convincing parents and teachers to let you resit so much)?

No they don't. The ones who study in Pakistan or come from there to study here are extremely clever.

Coolstorybro. Im talking in terms of statistics, not some anecdotal rubbish.

Indian parents are the same, don't worry. It's people like them that make you want to do better. Prove them wrong.
