When can UK students apply for Student Finance in 2015?

I went to apply today but can only apply for either 2013/14 or 2014/15. So am interested as to when the 2015/16 finance application opens?

It'll be Feb/March time. Don't think the exact date has been announced yet.

I've been told it will be early in February even though Student Finance advisers are not giving date over the phone. Important for you at this stage is that the online form is really straightforward and must be submitted by May 31st + your parents MUST be 'on board with this' and be ready to complete their section too. Go to SFE website (google it) for more info.

That is the deadline for submission which guarantees that your funding will be in place by the start of your course.

You can submit your application at any time up to nine months after your course starts. If you miss the 31 May deadline, all that happens is that your money isn't guaranteed to be in your account by the start of term.
