How do you feel? Quite disappointed at first, but it's whatever at this point. Life always has a reason for why something happens, and Oxford may have simply not been the place for me. Now, I have to wait for an offer from King's, and I will firm them, and put Durham as my insurance.

Decision time is here again, so here's the annual yay/boo thread. One response in the following format only please, and keep all chat to the other threads.
Subject: PPE

Outcome: conditional offer
Conditions: SIPCAL AAA
How did you hear? (email/letter/phone/owl): email at midnight (gmt+7).
How do you feel: Was holding my breath as the email didn't say anything about the outcome till the very last line. Still can't believe it! I decided to apply only in Sept thinking i wouldn't make it. The only thing to worry about now is funding.

How do you feel? I think my MAT score was'n good enough (I think around 60, haven't received my feedback yet). My 4 interviews for 2 colleges were very good. I still feel a little bit disappointed, I tried so hard and prepared loads, so it's definitely a shame. But it is not an end of life, received offers from other UNIs. For statistics purpose: some my friends also received rejections for straight Maths from two other colleges for the same reasons: good interview performance, but fair MAT score. For next years applicants: MAT is more than important! You could receive an interview with 50+ result but you should have exceptional circumstances to get an offer after very good performance during interview but with average MAT score.

How did you hear?: Email—requested a scanned version of my letter last night
How do you feel?: Shocked. I already have an acceptance from a top-tier US university and was elated at that, but this...this is unbelievable. I'm a bit apprehensive about being 4,000 miles from family and the lack of options in course work—I'm very interested in human rights, and a lot of American universities have classes in that, but Oxford is much more limited. So, I don't know, but barring good news from Stanford, I'll be in Oxford next year for sure.

How do you feel? I'm in shock. I can't believe it. I'm ecstatic that I got into Oxford, but I'm apprehensive because I applied with an open application. When I visited Corpus Christi during interviews, I didn't really like it, so I'm not sure if I'll be happy there. But all the same, it's Oxford, so I'm still very excited.
