music course choices

hi. just wondering if anybody has done music/music tech/music production/anything similar at university? if so, which universities stand out regarding music courses?


what course did you do prior? Looking at a level 3 diploma, but my rubbish GCSE's may let me down.

Your choice of uni will depend very much on what sort of music course you want to do. If you want to study music history, Oxford, Cambridge, Holloway, Durham, etc. are good choices. If you want to study performance, the conservatoires -- RAM, RCM, Guildhall, etc. -- are good choices.

Can you be more specific about what you want to do?
