Same I didn't think accommodation was going to be so expensive! :eek: Haha I will be broke, hopefully will be able to get a part-time job or something there. Or at least I hope I'll be able to make enough over the summer to live off lol


In that sense I am lucky the maintenance loan and grant just covers my accomadation giving me about £200ish left for the year so I have to start saving up already and get a good job in the LONG summer

Yea the shuttle service is free.
Unconditional offer for Computer Science here! I was so glad I got that offer, it was either that or UWL/Birkbeck which I really didn't want!

Plus I think that in the University is pretty good in Computer Science which i'm so happy about.

Anyone else here doing Computer Science? Saw someone doing it with A.I.

If your doing Computer Science, what are you guys going to specialise in? I might focus on Software engineering, but i'm not sure since they have a lot of areas to specialise in which is great.
Im also doing computer science, looks like a great course! Can't wait to start :smile:
So accomodation is going to cost between £6800-7400.
I get main loan, main grant (takes from the loan..) and Special Support Grant (should do). Wonder how short that's going to leave me to pay off for the year. Damn Uni is expensive

Literally found that accommodation today and it looks so much better than the accommodation on campus. What course are you going to do and are you planning on going on the Curzon point accommodation? :smile:

Yeah I've applied for Curzon Point, I thought the rooms looked great and it is more costly but I don't mind forking out a bit extra for nicer accomodation :smile: I'm going to do Fashion with Marketing, what about you? :biggrin:

The shuttle bus goes as follows:

Park&Ride Car Park > College Lane campus > De Havilland campus and back the same way <<<<<

It is completely free between both campuses. If you have a car and you park in the Park&Ride then its just 20p to use the shuttle :smile:

Oh deym, I still haven't done my accommodation:s-smilie: hopefully I get a place there! And I'm going to do mental health nursing :smile:
I've recently chosen Hertfordshire as my firm choice to study Business Economics. Anybody else doing this course?
Also I have applied for accommodation , does anybody know if the accommodation is good because they are very expensive

I am also going to take admission in this September (2015) in Computer Science (Software Engineering) in direct final year by transferring credits from Pakistan. I think this uni has a good ranking for Computer Science.
