Hey everyone iv applied for the Undergraduate Social Work degree at brunel, just wondering has anyone else applied for it? If so what was the interview process like and what questions did they ask? Thanks

Hi,

I'm a current student at Brunel, albeit my last year. Things have changed a bit since my interview, but I'll try to give you some pointers.

Currently there is an individual interview. They might ask you 'why you want to do social work', 'how would you respond to a client in xyz situation'.

I'm guessing the group activity is still there, whereby you're divided into small groups and work your way through a case study- make sure to be involved in the discussions!!

And lastly there is a written exercise, where you're asked to respond to a topic (e.g. discrimination). It might feel daunting, but I'm sure you'll be fine. You can talk about personal experience to make points...
