FP1 Series (Edexcel text book quesiton)

Hi, I am stuck on part c of question 8 in my textbook, how do I show it equals the equation? :confused:

I have uploaded what I'v done so far.

Any help would be appreciated :smile:

Hmmmmmmm

There doesn't seem much to do

The first sum is all the cubes upto (2n)^3
The second sum is all the even numbers cubed upto (2n)^3

Take the evens from them all and you will be left with the odds
