does anyone know similarities between common law and equity??
urgent help needed!!!!
Common law does "the law", equity tends to step in where there is "unscionability" and is based more on principles of fairness and justice as between the parties. See the articulation of contractual remedies such as "misrepresentation", undue influence, duress, and the debate in mistake cases.
