Missed spring week applications.

Hello

I recently decided that I'd like to seek employment in the finance industry, more specifically:

Asset management
Hedge funds
Venture capital
Consulting
Investment banking

Unfortunately I have missed the deadlines for applying for spring weeks in my first year. What steps would you advise me to take in order to strengthen my chances of securing employment in the above secotors.

Currently I have

Education

A level
BBB (economics,history, biology)
GCSE
1A* 5As 5Bs

ECs

Investing and trading society
Sailing instructor

I am studying Econmics with Finance at a non target univetsity.

Find work experience.. cold-calling is your best bet, thosegrades won't get you passed the initial filters for most of formal programmes, unfortunaetely, networking would be the way to go, and even then.. that's a bit edgy. You might be forced to do a masters at a more reputed university.
