Eczema thread

I know there are a lot of people who suffer from eczema in some form. If you are like me, it can be a depressing condition to live with and play havoc with your self confidence. I'm interested to know how people cope with it and how they control it? What treatments do you use? I've currently been prescribed Protopic by my dermatologist but scared to use it because of the side effects and warnings.

Severe eczema can be really hard to deal with. If you are concerned about the medication that you have been started on could you have a chat with your GP about it as they might be able to answer the questions that you have even if it was started by a dermatologist. What have you tried for the itching so far?
