Accountacy and Finance degree from LSE to IB?

Is this possible?
This is exactly what i plan on doing - currently waiting on LSE to give me an offer! I think it is possible as you would go to a world class uni based in the financial hub of europe, and it is a target, putting you at an advantage. Also, The fact that LSE offers the quantitative finance module in year 3, not offered anywhere else. I read that this module is the most important if going into trading / sales in IB as it is maths heavy as well as showing links to financial markets etc. I personally think that you stand the same chance as anyone else (maths and engineering applicants apply to banks as well so why not finance students)

Wow, I hope this is true!
I don't see why not. LSE's Accounting and Finance course is very quantitative and mathematically challenging. So a good degree from there would show that you have a mathematical mind and the ability to analyze, which is exactly what IB's are looking for.
